Calling all Volunteer Ninjas!
Our Volunteer Application form for Summer 2014 Girls Rock Camp is now open! Please visit our Volunteer page to see available positions. We are expecting a bigger turnout than last year, so we will need more volunteers — both mentorship and support crew — to make camp happen!
We will be holding a “Fingerprinting Party” (Date and Time TBA) to get everyone fingerprinted for the criminal background check. Then we’ll eat pizza!!!!!!! Those volunteers who aren’t able to make it can get their fingerprinting done on their own, and Rock Camp will reimburse the expense.

We are offering a new program that is geared towards event planning.
The program is called the DIY Teen Leadership program, we are opening the program up to 5 girls aged 15-19 years old, tuition is a non refundable fee of $25/space (sliding scale) . Meetings will be 3 consecutive Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm, starting on February 22, with the festival on March 16, (mandatory attendance at meetings 2/22, 3/1, 3/8 and the festival on 3/16) . Snacks will be provided!
The goal of the program is to teach the girls how to book bands, artists, live performers, films/filmmakers, run the show from start to finish, learn how to run sound, manage bands and throw an amazing event!
The event that the girls will be booking is a festival called Get Off My Lawn, an all ages celebration of International Women’s Day, and will be on March 16 at the Frida Cinema in downtown Santa Ana for the opening weekend of a new non profit independent arts theater!!!
